The Role The SAP Retail Solution Architect is responsible for defining and governing the end-to-end retail solution architecture for the SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The role ensures seamless integration across Retail Merchandising, Omnichannel Commerce, POS, Warehouse Management (EWM), and SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR). The architect will drive scalable architecture supporting multi-country retail operations, unified inventory visibility, and omnichannel customer experience.
Requirements Key Responsibilities • Define enterprise solution architecture across SAP S/4HANA Retail, SAP CAR, EWM, POS, and e-commerce platforms. • Design omnichannel retail architecture supporting stores, digital commerce, and distribution networks. • Lead implementation of SAP CAR capabilities including POS data ingestion, demand consolidation, and real-time retail analytics. • Define end-to-end retail processes including merchandising, pricing, promotions, and omnichannel fulfilment. • Ensure seamless integration between retail systems, supply chain systems, and finance. • Provide architecture governance across functional, data, and integration workstreams. • Support retail rollout strategy across pilot markets and full deployment waves.
