The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Control Engineer to join our dynamic EPC team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring, managing, and controlling project costs to ensure financial efficiency and adherence to budgets throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement cost control systems and procedures to monitor project expenditures. - Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for EPC projects. - Analyze project cost reports and data to identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions. - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting. - Review and approve cost control documentation and change orders. - Forecast budget trends and risks and advise management on cost-saving opportunities. - Lead cost control meetings and provide timely cost reports to stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with company and industry standards related to cost control and financial management.
Requirements - Bachelors degree in electrical engineering - Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost control within EPC or construction industries. - Strong knowledge of cost control methodologies, tools, and software. - Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and produce insightful reports. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus. - Willingness to relocate to Kuwait and adapt to local working conditions.
