The Role This opportunity is with a reputable construction company specializing in high-rise building projects. Key Responsibilities: -Develop and manage project budgets and cost plans -Track and monitor project expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets -Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and variance analyses -Identify and analyze discrepancies between planned and actual costs -Provide support during tendering and procurement processes -Verify and review subcontractor invoices and payment applications for accuracy -Ensure compliance with contract terms, financial policies, and procedures -Prepare detailed monthly cost reports for management -Assist in value engineering initiatives and cost-saving strategies -Identify potential financial risks and recommend effective mitigation measures
Requirements Required Qualifications: -Bachelors degree in Construction Management, or Civil Engineering -3–7 years of relevant experience in cost control within the construction industry -Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial reporting -Familiarity with construction contracts and financial management processes -Proficiency in MS Excel and cost control software/tools
