The Role We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Adult Medical and Surgical Ward Nurse to join a reputable healthcare organization in Dubai. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from medical conditions, surgeries, and various treatments. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience working in a hospital ward setting. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, and treatment of patients in the medical and surgical ward. Monitor patients vital signs, progress, and overall condition, and report any changes to the medical team. Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist patients with daily living activities, mobility, and post-operative care. Prepare patients for medical procedures, surgeries, and diagnostic tests. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress. Ensure compliance with infection control policies, safety standards, and hospital protocols. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans. Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, recovery, and discharge instructions. Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive patient care environment.
Requirements Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification. Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical and Surgical Ward in a hospital setting. Valid nursing license from home country. Eligibility for nursing license in Dubai (DHA eligibility, license, or willingness to obtain). Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience in accredited or tertiary care hospitals is an advantage.
