The Role Our Tier 1 Main Contracting Client has a new requirement for a seasoned Operations Manager to join their structural division in Dubai providing strategic and operational leadership for large scale, complex civil construction projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an Operations Manager overseeing multiple large RC frame projects in the UAE and beyond having worked for recognised main contracting companies previously. This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity, employed by our client. Key Responsibilities: Provides strategic and operational leadership for all structural construction activities across multiple projects, ensuring safe execution, technical compliance, and consistent delivery of substructure and superstructure works in line with company and project standards, schedules, and budgets. Lead and oversee structural operations across multiple projects or packages Set and enforce standards for structural construction, quality, and safety Manage and support Structural Construction Managers and site teams Coordinate with design, commercial, planning, and HSE functions Drive consistency in construction methods, sequencing, and temporary works Monitor performance, productivity, and risk across structural activities Support resolution of complex technical and constructability issues Report on operational performance to senior management Drive a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across all structural operations Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and structural risks Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, and company HSE requirements
Requirements Operations Manager (Structures) Experience: Minimum 15 years experience in structural construction management across various project sizes. Strong and proven experience with reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundations In-depth knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and temporary works Familiarity with relevant building codes and structural standards Experience working with consultants, inspectors, and authorities Structural construction leadership Multi-project operations management Technical governance and compliance Team leadership and performance management Risk management and decision-making
