National Geographic and MBRSC explore the UAE's historic ‘Hope Probe' Mission to Mars in highly anticipated ‘Reach for the Stars' Episode 3

The latest episode of the limited docu-series is set to premiere on August 18th at 8:30PM UAE and 7:30PM KSA on the National Geographic Channel 

Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates, Tuesday, August 17, 2021: In collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), National Geographic has announced the premiere of the long awaited third episode of ‘Reach for the Stars'. The episode gives viewers a front-seat ticket to the first Arab interplanetary mission – the Emirates' globally acclaimed Emirates Mars Mission and its Mars Hope Probe. 

Premiering on August 18th at 8:30PM UAE and 7:30PM KSA on the National Geographic Channel, the episode follows the Emirates Mars Mission's epic journey as the Hope Probe reaches its Mars orbit – a culmination of seven years of hard work and a celebration of leadership, innovation, and achievement. It will be available to view on OSN, BEIN, Etisalat and Du. In tandem with the English premiere, the Arabic language version of the episode will air on National Geographic Abu Dhabi on September 2nd, at 8:00PM UAE and 7:00PM KSA.

The episode gives viewers an exclusive look into the journey that established the UAE as a pioneer in space exploration. It provides unique insights from the mission, which aimed to build a unique and complete picture of Mars' atmosphere and capture the powerful development of science and technology in the Emirates that made this journey a reality. 

The episode also gives viewers an exclusive look at the people behind the mission and the very moment the Hope Probe successfully entered Mars' orbit. 

Reach for the Stars is a four-part docu-series, which takes us on a journey into the heart of the UAE Space program. The series is airing on the National Geographic Channel, available on OSN, BEIN, Etisalat and Du on 18th August.
