Simple Ways To Detox Your Body
A seasonal detox is an effective way to clean your body from toxins, which will also speed up your metabolism & enhance your overall health. Here is a few simple tips on how you can detox your body.
Sweat it out in the sauna – There is really nothing more detoxing than sweating it out.. Spending 20 min in the sauna can burn up to 500 calories.
Oil Massages & Exfoliation – Regular massages, skin brushing & exfoliation will eliminate toxins from your body & stimulate blood circulation.
Eat Organic when possible – It is suggested that you eat whole plant foods because processed food lacks the nutrients your body needs. Dark green vegetable's, for instance, are full of micro- nutrients and are very low in calories, so you can eat a lot of them.
Cut down on sugar – Start by decreasing the amount of sugar you consume, this also includes honey, molasses, & artificial sweeteners.
Drink Tea – Not only is tea full of antioxidants, it hydrates you ( specially if it's herbal tea) and it fills you up witch meant that you will be less likely to over eat or eat the wrong things!
Start with Water – It's suggested you drink a tall glass of water with juice from half of a lemon in the morning. Lemon helps to re-hydrate the system & promotes digestion, which will help the flow of waste out of your body .
Exercise – Regular exercise encourages circulation in the blood and lymph system. People who exercise regularly have far fewer total toxins in their systems.
