GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail Donates Medical Equipment to King's College Hospital Dubai

GEMS Education school has donated 110 medical goggles to hospital staff
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 28, 2020: GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail, part of GEMS Education, has donated 110 medical goggles to King’s College Hospital Dubai staff to support them in their fight against COVID-19. This followed a request from the hospital, which prompted the Academy to react and deliver the required medical equipment.
The school uses goggles in its Product Design & Science department that are suitable for use by medical staff in the hospital’s intensive care unit, and hospital staff have been using the goggles for their day to day operations.
Neil Matthews, Principal and CEO of GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail, said: “GEMS Education has reached beyond education to support the community and those working on the frontlines during these unprecedented times. We are proud of how our school is coming together to support the fight against COVID-19; we are all in this together and we remain committed to making a difference.”
