Primary and secondary education providers to highlight wide variety of learning options for parents seeking for ideal education path for their children
February 27, 2020 – As an entry point into the domain of student recruitment for K-12 Education, the Gulf Schools & Nursery Expo will be held alongside GETEX, the Middle East’s longest-running Higher Education student recruitment event this year. Under the banner, Gulf Schools & Nurseries Expo 2020, the event will take place from April 16 to 18, 2020 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC). This K-12 education segment will prove to be a timely and strategic opportunity for schools to meet and convince parents seeking the ideal learning environment for their kids.
During the exciting three-day show, primary and secondary education providers will be onsite to meet with parents and students who are keen on knowing more about the options available to them and choose the school that meets all their preferences and requirements. The event will enable parents to clarify any doubts they may have and confidently make quick decisions to secure a seat for their children in the school of their choice.
Anselm Godinho, from the organizers, said: “Over the last few years, we have witnessed the opening of different schools offering various learning approaches in the UAE. It is a daunting task for new schools to effectively reach out to UAE’s culturally diverse demographic of students. On the other hand, it is big ask to expect parents to make an informed decision by visiting each of the many schools within the emirate they reside in. The objective of the Gulf Schools & Nurseries Expo is to allow K-12 schools to showcase themselves and use the event, as a marketing and information-sharing platform.”
“Parents deem education expos as an important catalyst in their decision-making process. It allows them to see several schools on the same floor, compare school facilities, quality of education delivery, faculty quality and a host of other influencing criteria before signing on the dotted line. Gulf Schools & Nurseries Expo will level the recruitment field for schools and facilitate a recruitment process that is otherwise a shot in the dark marketing exercise. We look forward to see more schools get onboard the Gulf Schools & Nurseries Expo and take this opportunity to increase their student intake numbers,” added Godinho.
Kerry Ross, Enrolment, Marketing and Brand Manager - DIS and UAS, Al Futtaim Education, said: “At the Gulf Schools & Nurseries Expo 2020, Deira International School and Universal American School – both Al Futtaim Education Foundation schools, are excited to demonstrate how our links to the Foundation help us provide a world of opportunities to all our students. With a clear vision for education in the emirate of Dubai and within the UAE, the Foundation links the schools with Al-Futtaim businesses in ways to optimize the learning experience for students such as the unique summer internship opportunities simulating real-life work experiences.”
The Gulf Schools & Nurseries Expo will include a plethora of activities including a student counsellors clinic, seminars for parents and interactive extra-curricular workshops for students to hone child’s learning development.
