Skyline University College (SUC) 3rd Counselor Workshop attended by 50 schools from UAE

Sharjah, UAE, November 29, 2016: Skyline University College (SUC) and The Young Vision (TYV) magazine organized the 3rd “Let’s Talk” Counselor Workshop on November 28, 2016 and was participated in by more than 80 counselors from various schools in the UAE. The speakers of the event were SUC Associate Professor Dr. Mohit Vij, Arabian Wellness & Lifestyle Management LLC Director Professor Adrian Kennedy, and LifeWorks Personal Development Trainers Dr. Lavina Ahuja and Dr. Shankar S. Kuchibatla. The speakers addressed the topics of Importance of Social Networking, School Health Programs, and Self-Doubt and Negative Thinking respectively.
The counselor workshop aimed at providing trainings and lectures that are necessary to improve and strengthen the skills and knowledge of school counselors from the UAE. Each session has corresponding interaction with the audience to address their concerns and questions about the topic. The event also focused on understanding different ways to handle several cases of students inside the school and come up with solutions to problems concerning the behavior students.
This initiative is part of SUC’s continuous mission to give back to the society by conducting workshops to counselors and teachers, which are beneficial for the growth and development of students across the country. SUC’s “Let’s Talk” Workshop is an annual activity organized by SUC Marketing Department and will be back next year for their fourth edition.
