Sharjah, UAE, April 16, 2016: Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX) 2016 commenced on April 13, 2016 at Dubai Convention & Exhibition Centre with the active participation of universities, schools, and training providers around the world including Skyline University College (SUC). The occasion was inaugurated by H.E. Sheik Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development.
During the first day of GETEX 2016, SUC Dean Dr. Amitabh Upadhya, Deputy Director of Public Relations Mr. Firas Al Tabbaa, Deputy Director of Marketing and Admissions Mr. Rakesh Gaur, and faculty members had the privilege of meeting H.E. Sheik Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan at SUC StandD400. The faculty members and staff of Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Center for Professional Development and Events department worked together as a team in promoting SUC programs and short training courses. SUC’s goal, as it ventures for continuous excellence in the field of business, IT, and travel and tourism is to increase its number in terms of enrollees and affiliations with various entities that will highly benefit the students’ educational and career growth.
SUC has provided aptitude test, personal counseling, and in-depth consultation to aspiring students who are on the verge of decision-making and to parents who are in full support to their children’s future endeavors in higher education. “I know Skyline that’s why we’re here. I think Skyline has a good set of faculty and that’s what I’m looking for, for my son. He’s now working with his father and he is the best. Your program offers are very nice. Let’s hope for the best,” says parent Harsha Jagda after being oriented with SUC’s admission policies. “There’s a 75% chance that I will consider Skyline after I graduate in high school. The thing is, I am looking for a school that has sports activities. And what they told me today about Skyline, you have cricket, basketball, volleyball and so on and that’s really a good thing. I want to major in Finance,” says Druv Chaney of Delhi Private School Dubai. SUC welcomes and congratulates the new graduates as they prepare to enter higher education.
