University College of Bahrain partners with Ellucian to enhance innovation in higher education

College selects cloud-based student administration system to help transform the student experience and drive student success
DUBAI, UAE – 8 February 2016: Ellucian, the global leading provider of higher education software and services, today announced that the company is partnering with the University College of Bahrain and MDSL to implement Ellucian Quercus.
Quercus is a cloud based student administration system that enables higher education institutions to deliver a superior experience for students on any browser or mobile device.

Quercus is hosted in reliable and secure cloud data centers that provide scaling and high resilience facilities for operating mission critical applications. Ellucian’s data centers are certified to comply with Information Security standards. The SaaS platform operates across three physical data centers to ensure resilience.
