Dubai, March 11, 2020: As part of its on-going efforts to share knowledge with customers, Al-Futtaim Technologies and Cisco Systems held a session to highlight the benefits of Cisco’s solutions to IT and network managers from leading companies across the UAE.
The half-day session which was led by experts from Cisco and Al-Futtaim Technologies showcased the benefits of Cisco WIFI 6, Cisco Collaboration solutions and Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA).
Commenting on the event, Hasan Ali, Divisional Manager from Al-Futtaim Technologies, said, “The joint session with Cisco is another step in providing added value to our customers. We are confident the session was beneficial and will enable the attendees to adopt innovative solutions that help their organizations redefine what’s possible for businesses.”
The next generation of the Wi-Fi standard – Wi-Fi 6, also known as 802.11ax is the latest step in a journey of nonstop innovation. The standard builds on the strengths of 802.11ac while adding efficiency, flexibility and scalability that allows new and existing networks increased speed and capacity with next-generation applications.
By deploying Cisco's collaboration solutions, businesses can improve processes, speed decision-making and boost productivity, while Cisco DNA is an open software-driven architectural model powered by intent and informed by context. Cisco DNA seeks to address the DX imperative through software-defined networking (SDN), virtualization, automation, analytics, and cloud. Within this framework, Software-Defined Access (SD-Access) provides end-to-end segmentation to keep user, device and application traffic separate without a redesign of the network.
