Painful Wire Handles
When you are moving about with heavy paint cans, those wire handles can sometimes really hurt your hands. Try cutting a piece of old garden hose. Slit the hose on one side and slip it over the paint handle. It's an instant cushion.

To Clean A Washable Wallpaper
For everyday dirt and dust accumulation, dip a sponge or clean cloth in mild detergent mixed with cool water; wipe the surface clean, then rinse with cold water and blot dry with a clean cloth.

Steel Wool Splinters
If you are using steel wool to refinish wood or to buff a cabinet, this usually results in painful splinters and red hands. Robber gloves even don't do the job. Try cutting a tennis ball in half, creating a cup. Insert the steel wool pad into the cup and buff away.
