Serco Extends Contract at Abu Dhabi Global Market Square

Serco Middle East has extended its contract with - Alsowah Square Properties LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mubadala Development Company PJSC, to deliver Integrated Property and Facilities Management Services at the prestigious Abu Dhabi Global Market Square development, the international financial center on Al Maryah Island, master planned and developed by Mubadala.
David Greer, Serco Middle East Chief Executive Officer welcomed the announcement and the opportunity to build on Serco’s proud relationship with Mubadala that stretches more than five years: “I am delighted with this news. Over the last 5 years we have built a leading position in Integrated Property and Facilities Management Services in the UAE. In winning this rebid for the Abu Dhabi Global Market Square contract we have demonstrated our capacity to deliver real efficiencies and productivity benefits for our customer. Serco was first awarded the Integrated Property and Facilities Management Services contract in 2009 and for the last six years has delivered high quality outcomes to a diverse tenant base, and in an ever changing environment. This announcement is great news for our existing employees and is a tangible example of our commitment to retain and grow our Integrated Facilities Management business.”
The three-year contract commences 1 March 2015, and includes: the delivery of all commercial space Facilities Management services across the 530,000 m² development including; Estates Management (MEP), Cleaning and Waste Management, Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance, Pest Control, Site Security, Parking Services and Property Management Services.
