Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 9 July , 2024: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has initiated its annual Summer Training Programme, set to run until the end of July.
The programme includes a select group of high school and university students. Aligned with DHA's efforts in attracting national talent, the programme aims to prepare and equip students by refining their skills, enhancing their personal and professional capabilities, and imparting knowledge relevant to various medical and administrative roles within the organisation.
Moreover, the programme seeks to foster students' sense of responsibility, assist in discovering their talents, guide them towards suitable career paths aligned with their educational and professional aspirations.
It also aims to familiarise them with the nature and scope of career opportunities available to citizens across different specialties within DHA and how to pursue these roles in the future.
Supervised by a distinguished team of DHA employees, the programme features a range of activities focused on introducing students to the healthcare sector, the roles, responsibilities, and duties upheld by DHA in serving the community.
It leverages students' scientific knowledge, integrates them into the daily work environment, and creates conducive conditions for them to maximise the benefits of the programme.
Furthermore, DHA has allocated students to various sectors and organisational units based on their preferences, qualifications, and academic backgrounds, ensuring an immersive and tailored learning experience.
This initiative underscores DHA's commitment to nurturing local talent, fostering educational development, and empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
