February 17, 2022: Al Adil Trading, UAE’s leading name for Indian spices and masalas, was recently honoured by the prestigious Etisalat SMB awards 2021. Etisalat, some time back, had announced the launch of SMB Awards 2021. The award was announced to celebrate the success of the business community in the UAE and to show appreciation for the outstanding performance and contribution to the UAE’s economy by SMBs. It has been noted that small and medium businesses today make up for a major portion of businesses in the UAE representing over 60 per cent of the country’s GDP. The SMB of the Year award was received by Mr. Hrishikesh Datar, Director, Al Adil Trading.
Dr. Dhananjay (Jay) Datar, popularly known as the ‘Masala King’ said it is a great honour to be recognized by Etisalat. “As a leading service provider, Etisalat is one of the most credible government entities in the UAE. The selection process, for the SMB awards is very rigorous. Every application had to undergo a comprehensive check to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and was then passed on to a team of prestigious jury. The experts panel analyzed and evaluated all shortlisted submissions based on multiple factors including eligibility criteria, strength of the overall application and performance within the category of nomination. I am happy to note that we have been selected after such an exhaustive process.”
After receiving the award Mr. Hrishikesh said “It is very important to note that awards and recognition add more responsibility to what we do. I wish to thank Etisalat for this great honor. It is also a reflection of the dedicated team effort of our entire organization. I wish to thank the Rulers of this great country who support and encourage us in our endeavors. This initiative is a clear reflection of the support that we get from the leaders of UAE. I would also like to highlight the fact that this award would not have been possible without the guidance and encouragement of Dr. Dhananjay Datar, our Chairman & Managing Director.
