Dubai, UAE, November 14, 2016: The strikingly svelte and spectacular Excalibur Creative Skeleton Broceliande made a stunning debut in Dubai, at the Roger Dubuis Astral Skeleton Exhibition, currently under way at Dubai Mall.
The Excalibur Creative Skeleton Broceliande, is an ornate and beautifully crafted tribute to women from the Swiss fine watch maison, who specialises in timepieces of extraordinary complications and technical excellence. The watch powerfully yet delicately evokes the way in which the foliage of an evergreen plant subtly coils around its host in a symbiotic and almost fusional relationship. Decorative jewellery elements are cleverly entwined with the skeleton flying tourbillon movement and the dial, to the point where they become indistinguishable from each other. This superb example of Roger Dubuis' innovative design and watchmaking genius is available exclusively in Dubai for AED 1,044,000.
The Excalibur Creative Skeleton Broceliande was one among the range of new timepieces being showcased at the upcoming Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva early next year. These included the Blossom Velvet Pink and Excalibur Automatic Skeleton Carbon.
As the principal hub of one of the Manufacture’s most important markets, Dubai was the obvious choice for Roger Dubuis to host the exhibition. Created exclusively for Dubai, the Astral Skeleton Exhibition has been attracting select guests, fine watch aficionados and friends of the brand who were given a special virtual tour through time and space as interpreted by Roger Dubuis.
One of the highlights of the event was the Roger Dubuis “Incredible Calibres” Virtual Reality Experience, which gave guests a remarkable opportunity to enjoy a journey enhancing the architectural and technical mechanics of its pioneering contemporary skeleton movements.
