Dubai, UAE, May 1, 2016: Braun, the world’s most trusted hair removal brand, is launching NEW Braun Silk-expert IPL, the intelligent choice for permanent visible hair removal. With Silk-expert IPL, Braun brings the SensoAdaptTM technology making possible that women enjoy safe and effective treatment within the comfort of their home. The result is a reliable*, virtually painless way to achieving long-lasting smooth skin.
With the intelligent SensoAdapt™ skin tone sensor, Braun Silk-expert marks a milestone in the category of the IPL hair removal systems.
- The technology completely takes away the guesswork and automatically sets the light intensity to the optimal level for the skin. In contrast to other devices that only detect the eligibility for an IPL treatment, the SensoAdapt™ skin tone sensor continuously reads the skin up to 80 times/second and adjusts the light intensity to the right level. This avoids the often complicated manual color chart matching process that other devices require, particularly as the skin tone varies on different parts of the body.
- This is the fastest IPL technology available at high energy levels, flashing once every 0.9-1.9 seconds, upon energy intensity. This enables legs treatment in 8 minutes
Clinically proven efficacy and safety
The Braun Silk-expert IPL has been clinically tested and cleared by the FDA. Clinical trial* has shown that after four weekly treatments, women experienced significant reduction in hair growth:
- 94% of women said that they had seen noticeable results after just three months of usage*;
- 89% of women experienced noticeable visible hair reduction even after 12 months from their last treatment.*
The virtually pain-free hair removal system can be used on the face area as well as on the entire body, giving women a solution to all their hair removal needs at once.**
High performance in use
With both Gliding and Precision modes, the Silk-expert IPL can easily adapt to different parts of the body. The Gliding mode enables fast and efficient treatments and is recommended for large areas such as legs and arms. The Precision mode is for treating sensitive or small, hard-to-reach areas such as the bikini line or underarm.
With its built-in mains cable, Braun Silk-expert IPL is always ready for use and can be run at maximum power with no interruptions. There are no gels or bulbs to change and the device is capable of producing 120,000 flashes. This means that if used only on the lower legs, underarm and bikini or face, the flashes allow around 14 years of use. Even when used to treat the entire body and deliver maintenance treatments to prevent regrowth, the flashes would give approximately 6 years of use.
What’s more, the Braun Silk-expert IPL it’s easy to use and it requires no training. It is compact, stylish and ergonomically designed with an easy to hold handle – making it the ideal solution for busy women on the go.
Braun Beauty Ambassador, Jessica Alba, says of Braun Silk-expert IPL:
“As a busy woman, the main challenge is to find an intelligent beauty product that is time efficient, without compromising on the end results. The new Braun Silk-expert IPL offers both, as well as being a beautifully designed product, allowing women to look and feel their best, always”.
Braun Silk – expert IPL will be launched next month (May) in leading electronic stores and hypermarkets across all GCC countries.
