Entities to collaborate to provide tours of Abu Dhabi’s historic mosques
Abu Dhabi, 19 January 2019: To promote cultural tourism in Abu Dhabi and showcase Islamic heritage and Abu Dhabi’s mosques and their stages of development and growth to tourists, the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has teamed up with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (Awqaf) to organise tours of historic and iconic mosques in the emirate.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two government entities to provide the immersive experiences to tourists and residents alike will also serve to strengthen the cultural exchange between the two partners.

Dubai, UAE, 17 January 2019: Emirates will operate its A380 aircraft to and from Amman between 01 June and 26 October 2019, in response to increased demand for travel during the summer period. This adjustment will see the airline operate one of its three daily flights on the route (EK 903/904) with its flagship A380. Growth in the number of passengers, revenue per kilometer and load factor, is an important indicator of the continued growing interest in Turkey and Turkish Airlines at the end of the year as well.

Total revenue passenger kilometers (RPKs) rose 6.2% compared to November 2017, a slight deceleration from 6.3% growth in October. Dubai, UAE, January 09, 2019: The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for global air freight markets showing that demand, measured in freight tonne kilometers (FTKs), was flat (0%) in November 2018, compared to the same period the year before. Dubai, UAE, June 13, 2018: Emirates will be boosting its flights to Jeddah during the busy Umrah season. The airline will operate 24 extra flights, adding more than 10,000 additional seats between Dubai and Jeddah from 12 June to 24 June. The additional flights will be serviced by the Boeing 777-300ER.
