Dubai, UAE, 15 June 2019: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world's largest district cooling services provider, organized its annual blood donation campaign as part of the World Blood Donor Day, which is celebrated on 14 June every year.
The campaign was held at Empower’s staff accommodation in Al Quoz by the DHA-run Dubai Blood Donation Centre mobile bus. Dubai, United Arab Emirates - May 29, 2019: Dubai Customs carried out 19 social initiatives during the Holy Month of Ramadan that benefited more than 45,000 people.
The initiatives varied to include donations, distribution of iftar meals among motorists and pedestrians, and organizing lectures.
As part of Al Furdah Hands initiative, 20,000 meals were handed out to motorists as they stopped at the traffic lights around sunset time. Dubai, 28 May 2019: The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has inked, on May 27, an agreement with Novartis Middle East on the provision and recycling of the strategic drug stockpile in severe and emergency situations.

Abu Dhabi, May 27, 2019: Fittingly for the Holy Month of Ramadan, this week has seen the return of the traditional call to prayer to the historic Jahili mosque in Al Ain.
The prominent location of Al Jahili Fort, at the centre of the city, and its landmark status, is such that its buildings, including the mosque, have come to symbolise the traditional architecture and cultural heritage of Abu Dhabi.
The historic mosque consists of a single room with an open arcade on the east side entered from an enclosed courtyard. It is a historic building constructed with earth blocks and palm log beams and probably dates back to the foundation of the fort in the 1890s.
