PUMA AND TRAPSTAR RELEASE FOOTBALL-INSPIRED FALL COLLECTION
Inspired by the Pitch for the Streets
Dubai, UAE, November 9, 2017: There’s a star trapped inside everyone and London-based lifestyle brand Trapstar sets it free. Founders Mikey, Lee, and Will dig through every decade and artistic discipline out there in their pursuit of inspiration. The latest PUMA x Trapstar collection outfits archive sportswear silhouettes with utilitarian details, adding their tough-as-nails attitude to streetwear.
With PUMA’s rich sport heritage and continued presence in teamsport paired with Trapstar passion for the game, it only comes natural for football to serve as the inspiration for the range. Styles show clever touches and familiarities to archive football gear, from jerseys to warm-up wear. Trapstar mashes performance gear and their street-style aesthetics to the game resulting in a collection made for running the streets.
Linking the collection together are graphics that will seem familiar to every Trapstar fan. Their trademark ‘White Noise’ or black-and-white speckled print is rendered into several styles, from the PUMA x Trapstar Ren Boot’s inner tongue, collar and laces to PUMA x Trapstar Jacket and Hoodies that serve as an accent running down the side. Trapstar put their stamp on the PUMA x Trapstar Clyde & PUMA x Trapstar Clyde Perforated by inking their script on the Formstrip of the classic court sneaker.
Trapstar re-imagines PUMA’s latest progressive sneaker, the Tsugi, with the PUMA x TRAPSTAR TSUGI Blaze. Amping up its presence to the next level, the upper is wrapped in premium paneled leather sock construction with gothic Trapstar branding on the heel. All atop the futuristic Tsugi mid and outsole reinforced by the IGNITE cushioning system inserted in between.
The PUMA x Trapstar Fall 2018 collection drops in Trapstar, all PUMA stores and selected sneaker retailers in the GCC on November 4th.
