70's Revival: New designer and celebrity favorite, Magda Butrym, makes her Middle East debut with her ‘rock ‘n' roll chic' Autumn/Winter 2015 collection

Dubai, August 30, 2015: This fall, Polish designer MAGDA BUTRYM is taking center stage of Bloomingdale’s-Dubai’s woman’s contemporary offerings with her new Autumn/Winter 2015 collection. 

Combining her elaborated, personal style mostly based on elements of leather and suede, the collection fuses effortless sophistication with influences of boho chic. The garments emphasize the figure; textures are contrasting; smooth leather surfaces are broken with suede and velvet along with intricate crochet and metal details. Sequins and furs add glamour. 

Dedicated to demanding women who seek unique, high quality pieces, MAGDA BUTRYM fulfills the expectations by combining the finest fabrics available with meticulous craftsmanship. As handcraft is the staple of Butrym's collections, this season introduces hand-woven leather, knitted fabric, and embroidered ornaments. A number of garments are made of small metal pieces assembled manually.

Although the colour palette consists mostly of black, and shades of grey and brown, accents of deep purple, white or stripes are also prevalent.

"I was designing with a specific girl in mind- a singer or a groupie of that era - and imagined what she'd wear, “says Butrym.

Available for the first time in the Middle East, MAGDA BUTRYM’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection is available exclusively in the Women’s Contemporary Department located on the First Floor at Bloomingdale’s-Dubai, The Dubai Mall.
