Discover boat rentals in Dubai this winter
When we think about Dubai, many of us will associate the emirate with skyscrapers, 6-star hotels, and fantastic shopping. What often goes overlooked is that the entire city is stretched along the coast.
A Boat Rental in Dubai is beginning to pick up in popularity due to how easy and accessible it is to rent a boat. As we can guess, Dubai is full of boat owners, which makes finding one to rent on a day-to-day basis extremely easy.
Click&Boat, the leading boat rental platform, has everything from luxury yachts to rustic sailboats, and it offers a new perspective when visiting Dubai. It should be noted that whilst boats can be rented for an entire week vacation, they can also be rented for just a few hours - with or without a captain and crew.
Sometimes we can get caught up in the absurdity of the modern urban area that is Dubai, and stepping backwards, out to sea to see it from afar, is a really powerful perspective shift. It's a bit like looking up at the stars at night.
Dubai's International Boat Show
Of course, it's not all about looking back in awe at Dubai's city skyline. There are some activities you can do whilst you're on the boat too. The Dubai International Boat Show brings together some of the most incredible brands and yachts to create a boujee spectacle.
And quite a show it is! Beyond the uber expensive boats that will be parading, there are some other exhibitions that get the pulse racing. One example is the sea scooter, which is like an aquatic jet pack, as well as underwater drones.
Finally, there is plenty of VIP lounging where you can pick up some great food. Nearby, there will be live music to keep guests entertained.
Beaches, Diving, and Watersports
Being on a boat in Dubai just makes sense - it feels right. There are lots of places to berth the boat and visit some incredible coastal restaurants or shopping centres, however, there are also plenty of things to do on the boat too.
Firstly, there are tonnes of beaches in Dubai. Well, really it is just one long 60km beach, but the environment does change depending on which parts you go to. It's fast to explore whilst on a boat of course, and you can more easily decide which part you want to go to when coasting along the sea.
Anchoring up and taking a swim is highly recommended. Being a seaport in the gulf, there are lots of self-contained ecosystems around. You will find endless tropical fish in extremely warm and inviting waters. Dolphins, turtles, and some rare tropical fish can be discovered when diving.
Finally, for those who are more adventurous, there are plenty of watersports activities around. Flyboarding, jetskiing, and kitesurfing are some activities you may be familiar with, but there's also Dubai's unique Seabreacher, in which you enter an airtight vehicle that swims like a shark. This is an underwater jet ski, in which you can ride about simulating the swimming of a shark!
