United Arab Emirates -  November 02, 2020:    Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Watani Al Emarat Foundation and Union Coop launched the awareness campaign ‘Let's Beat Coronavirus' in order to educate the public about the dangers of the epidemic and encourage people to take all precautionary and preventive measures against the spread of Covid19 in society.

H.E. Khalifa Aldrai, Executive Director - Dubai Corporation Ambulance Services confirmed that the corporation seeks to be at the forefront by designing awareness programs and appropriate events to tighten control over the epidemic and create an appropriate response. They played a major role since the first outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, and their volunteer role had the largest share in supporting the country's initiatives and efforts to the stop the spread of Coronavirus. Moreover, ‘Let's Beat Coronavirus' Campaign complements the initiatives of both Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services and Watani Al Emarat Foundation i.e. in creating awareness about the dangers of Corona pandemic and the importance of taking precautionary measures to protect a person himself, his family and society altogether.”

H.E. Dherar Belhoul further expressed that the Watani Al Emarat Foundation through its volunteers participated on ground in important locations that demonstrated a spirit of belonging and loyalty, and through their high-end efforts, they strengthened the concept of good citizenship among Emiratis and residents, thereby forming harmony, cohesion and spirit of coexistence among the members of the society.

For his part the Director of Happiness & Marketing Dept. at Union Coop, Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki said: - “Considering the dire circumstances we face today, initiatives like these are more than welcomed, as they educate people about the Coronavirus pandemic and ways to prevent it. Union Coop extends its full support to Watani Al Emarat Foundation, who like Union Coop is tasked with supporting community volunteering initiatives by coordinating with entities both inside and outside the country and through communication and collaboration with local, regional and international entities.”

The participants not only imparted education about Coronavirus but also through volunteers, they distributed kits to the attendees, which consisted of Covid-19 preventive essentials.
