UAE, March 5, 2018 - Reaffirming its keenness to delight customers through developing and improving services, the Department of Economic Development - Ajman (DED-Ajman) recently launched the hashtag #customers_journey_DED_Ajman to invite DED's customers to participate in enhancing their Waiver (Tanazol)) and Cancelation (Elghaa) services. By visiting DED's social media platforms, customers can now present ideas and distinguished solutions that can play a major role in simplifying procedures and achieving customers happiness.

Mr. Ahmed Khair Al Baloushi, Director of Customer Relations Department, DED-Ajman, said that the Department, in coordination with the Commercial Registration Department, has recently adopted the Customer Experience Development initiative, which is one of the initiatives of the STARS World Program for outstanding government service centers. This initiative is aimed at achieving the principles of customer focus and improving the efficiency of government services. DED-Ajman took various means and methods that suit customers' needs and wishes into consideration by implementing this initiative.

He added: “In January, we involved our customers in developing the new economic license service, by inviting them to participate in the focus groups that has been held at the DED headquarters. This was in addition to inviting them to participate in development of amendment service for economic licenses through live broadcast in February, which was published on various social media platforms.

“In line with the directives of DED's senior leadership, the Management seeks to upgrade the methods and mechanisms of communication with customers, by using artificial intelligence programs in the field of customers relations and provision of distinguished government services to customers. This will improve the services and provide an integrated smart technics environment to facilitate and streamline the procedures of providing services to all customers anywhere, at any time, thus contributing to the elements of happiness and social well-being. It will also enhance the competitiveness of the investment environment, making the emirate a vital economic and investment center,” concluded Al Baloushi.
