Most influential icons and international brands to come together this March at the most sought after beauty event of the year
Dubai, UAE, January 10, 2018:  MyBeautyFest, a one of a kind beauty extravaganza, is set to make the UAE the ultimate destination for beauty enthusiasts, as it returns to Dubai on March 9th and 10th 2018 in Burj Park, Downtown Dubai. MyBeautyFest will be the region's biggest beauty event, bringing together international celebrities, the industry's leading influencers, bloggers and an unrivaled selection of beauty brands from across the globe to Dubai. MyBeautyFest is the definitive destination for all things beauty related allowing the community a fantastic platform to experience and connect with the latest trends and the best in the industry. 
Beauty is booming, with the GCC being the fastest-growing region in beauty, with industry estimates revealing that the retail value of the GCC's beauty market was US$9.3 billion in 2016, with strong growth expected over the next four years. Consumers are expected to spend US$13.6 billion by 2020, showing the potential and importance of the sector and increasing demand and interest from consumers. 
A full list of celebrities and regional influencers attending will be announced in the coming weeks, with top tastemakers taking the centre stage. The hot names confirmed to appear at MyBeautyFest so far include: 
  • Hrush Achemyan (Styledbyhrush), an acclaimed celebrity make-up artist from the USA with over 2m followers who works with the likes of Khloe Kardashian and Kylie & Kendal Jenner. 
  • Kuwaiti influencer Fouz Al Fahad (Therealfouz), has taken Instagram by storm by sharing her inspirational fashion and beauty tips. She has 2.1 million followers and is now the star of her very own TV show.
  • Dubai based siblings and international beauty sensations Sonia and Fyza Ali (soniaxfyza), who have amassed a substantial regional and global following with their beauty related advice. 
Lujayna Al Obaidani, General Manager of MyBeautyFest said, “MyBeautyFest will provide the ultimate experience for visitors interested in the various facets of beauty at one single event. Consumers today want to express their individuality and with the ever evolving perceptions of beauty, an event like MyBeautyFest provides access to a wealth of curated content which is aligned with their beliefs and lifestyles.”
Suitable for the mother and daughter, and designed for the beauty obsessed and social media savvy audience in mind, visitors to MyBeautyFest will experience an extensive range of activities developed to satisfy a diverse range of interests. Throughout the weekend, there will be celebrity meet & greets, demonstrations, master classes, professionally curated panel discussions, beauty brands showing off their products, interactive sessions, product launches, music & entertainment, along with numerous competitions and prizes. Make-up students will race against time to create award winning looks, guests can learn from each other and share beauty experiences, access exclusive interviews, take part in beauty challenges and enjoy on-stage performances, all in one central location.
The Korean influence on skincare and make-up which has taken the world by storm will also be recognised at MyBeautyFest with a special K-Beauty area with a number of brands making their appearance in the region for the very first time. 
Highlighting the importance of health and wellness as part of overall beauty, MyBeautyFest will also incorporate a huge range of healthy food trucks while fitness activities will be provided by Gold's Gym.
Ms. Al Obaidani added, “The overwhelming response we saw from regional consumers to the first edition of MyBeautyFest convinced us there was a considerable appetite for an event of this kind. Consumers' demands are rising, and even the traditional retailers are taking notice. So, we are really pleased to be returning to Dubai with an even bigger event and more value-added activities so that event attendees can benefit from it.”

Emaar Properties lends its support as a Strategic Sponsor and the Burj Park will serve as a magnificent outdoor setting in Downtown Dubai. Address Hotels + Resorts which is a brand of the Emaar Hospitality Group will serve as the official Hospitality Partner of the event. 
Tickets can be purchased from Platinum List as well as Mybeautyfest.com from the 11th January 2018 and general admissions cost AED 150, providing access to all beauty onsite activations and experience. Celebrity Masterclass tickets start from AED 1000. Opening times on both days from 12pm-10pm for the main event.
