ALFRESCO DINING IS BACK ON AT PALACE DOWNTOWN

Dubai, UAE, October 18, 2017:  Now that autumn is upon us, mildly warm days and comfortably cool nights are on their way – meaning it's time to embrace alfresco dining once again. All of the terraces at Palace Downtown will now be open to our guests. Whether you choose to dine at Asado, Thiptara, FAI, Al Bayt, Buhayra Lounge or Ewaan, you'll be treated to beautiful settings and stunning views of Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Fountain and the Palace Gardens.

Treat your taste buds to the sun-kissed flavours of Latin America at Asado, Palace Downtown
A culinary fiesta that pays homage to the rich flavours and rustic charm of Latin American market food, the new Asado Grape and Harvest Lunch is where Chef Josefinna Vallve's masterful skills come alive. Let your taste buds succumb to the temptation of flavours whether piquant, sweet or savoury, from seabass ceviche to beef chorizo, in a setting that transports you to a Latin American organic market, right here in Dubai. Visit Asado on any Friday or Saturday for the chance to pair old classics and new favourites with a range of soft or grape beverages at the Grape and Harvest Lunch.
Time: Every Friday and Saturday, 12.30pm to 3.30pm
Price: AED 200 per person, food only; AED 230 inclusive of unlimited soft beverages; AED 350 inclusive of unlimited house grape beverages

Embrace the heat at Thiptara, Palace Downtown
Guests are being challenged to embrace spiciness this autumn through Thiptara's new ‘Can you handle the heat?' menu, featuring the restaurant's hottest dishes. Enjoy spectacular views of Burj Khalifa as you sample a sophisticated array of à la carte Thai dishes designed to tantalise your taste buds. Whether you choose the savoury heat of deep-fried spicy soft-shell crab with chilli sauce, the fresh sharp flavours of green mango salad with crispy fish and spicy sauce, or the piquant delight of chocolate chilli ice cream, it's the perfect way to experience the true joy of Thai cuisine, with its rich and challenging spices.
Time: 6.00pm to 11.30pm
Price: À la carte dishes with a starting price of AED 88

The 1,001 flavours brunch at Ewaan, Palace Downtown
Dubai's most sought-after brunch is set amidst its most desirable community, Downtown Dubai. Overlooking Burj Khalifa, The Palace Gardens, and our vibrant poolside, the 1001 Flavours Brunch can be enjoyed in palatial splendour with friends and family. The cuisine is just as exquisite, with variety and authenticity to complement our premium beverages. Shouldn't every Friday be this special? You can also treat yourself to a selection of 2 for 1 premium beverages amidst the chic yet intimate ambience of FAI, which stays open post brunch and ensures the celebratory spirit continues well into the evening.
Date: Every Friday, throughout summer. Happy Hour at FAI from 4 pm to 6 pm.

AED 325 per person - A range of healthy detox beverages high in antioxidants as well as freshly squeezed juices, water, coffee and tea

AED 480 per person - A selection of premium grape beverages and ports as well as freshly squeezed juices, water, coffee and tea
Luxurious Brunch
AED 695 per person - An exquisite selection of premium grape beverages and free flowing bubbly, as well as freshly squeezed juices, water, coffee and tea

Staying in The Pink of Health - Tea Time at Al Bayt, Palace Downtown
The palatial surroundings and views of Burj Lake at Al Bayt, our lobby lounge, enlivens the time-honoured tradition of afternoon tea. The experience takes on an even more special dimension during the month of October, where you not only savour an assortment of delicious sweet and savoury treats with an unlimited selection of premium tea and coffee, but also participate in the Breast Cancer Awareness initiative every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with a special pink theme. We see it as part of our social responsibility, an experience we encourage you to share with friends and family.  
Date: Special pink-themed Afternoon Tea Buffet on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
Time: 2pm to 6pm
Price: AED 160 per person, including afternoon tea stand/ buffet and unlimited infusions
