Dubai, September 19, 2017: Emerico Private Limited today marked the launch of its 2nd Generation Virtual Smart Machine (VSM) that will offer enhanced features to strengthen self-service banking and customer-oriented services. The launch was announced at the 7th Middle East Banking Innovation Summit, the region's largest banking technology and innovation event, being held on Sept. 18 and 19 in Dubai. Emerico is a Networking Sponsor of the event.
The 2nd Generation VSM brings several enhanced banking features such as cash recycling, coin recycling and passbook update, complementing the 1st generation VSM, already launched in the region, which enables instant Europay, MasterCard, Visa (EMV) card dispensing, instant cheque dispensing and localised fingerprint identification. This will enable banking and other customer-service oriented industries to focus on branding, value creation and innovative customer experiences.
A state-of-the-art technology developed by Emerico, the 2nd Generation VSM further strengthens self-service banking to be operated with minimum human assistance anytime, anywhere. It will provide 24x7 full operational banking services including instant account opening, loan acquisition, instant debit/credit card dispensing, instant cheque issuance, and cash/coin handling with UAE Emirates ID fingerprint identification capability.
The 2nd Generation VSM also integrates existing facial and voice recognition features. Further, it offers Artificial Intelligence for decision-making and know-your-customer questionnaires with chatbot technology. The 2nd Generation VSM can be used with video conference or chatbot or both technologies simultaneously.

To be launched in 2018 in addition to the 3rd Generation VSM, it is highly customizable and powerful in instant acquisition usage with payment capability.
