UAE, April 29, 2017 – Falconcity of Wonders LLC, the developer of the Falconcity of Wonders (FCW) multipurpose mega project arising in Dubai, recently donated AED 50,000 to Ebdaat Craft Cooperative Society Dubai, an organization that supports craft work and other native articles made by Emiratis. Mr. Ahmad Almoosa, Vice Chairman and Deputy General Manager of FCW, handed over the cheque to Ms. Jawaher Ahmed, Chairwoman of Board Directors of Ebdaat Craft Cooperative Society Dubai, and voiced the company's commitment to help preserve Emirati heritage and promote locally made products.

Ebdaat Craft Cooperative Society Dubai is the first cooperative society established in the UAE to support the creative ideas and products of Nationals. It provides Emiratis with low-priced materials; training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities; and market through exhibiting and other special local, regional and international events.  FCW's contribution was made in appreciation for the Society's efforts to raise economic, cultural and social awareness among community members forming part of its cooperative.

Almoosa said: “We value the welfare of the community and are always eager to aid organizations that address important social causes. Ebdaat Craft Cooperative Society Dubai empowers Emiratis to be creative and self-reliant while encouraging them to uphold the UAE's rich traditions and heritage. We hope that our support can help Ebdaat further promote products that are proudly made in the UAE and assist more Emiratis who passionately engage in their crafts.”

Falconcity of Wonders LLC aims to make its iconic 41-million-square-foot ‘Wonders of the World' development a centerpiece of Dubai's emergence as a top global commercial and tourism hub. The developer is also fully aware of its influence on the society; its comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility agenda encourages activities that have positive impacts on the community at large. Falconcity of Wonders has supported various social development, humanitarian, and environmental protection initiatives.
