Dubai, UAE, October 19, 2016:   Whether you're currently living in the United Arab Emirates or you're hoping to move there someday, there are a variety of medical careers that await you in the UAE. Getting the right education will, of course, ensure that you'll be qualified for the very best and highest paying positions available, but having an understanding of the medical careers that are in top demand throughout the region will also help you narrow down your choices, focus your efforts, and succeed. Keep reading to learn about the top medical careers in the UAE to get started today.

Social Work

Social workers are needed all over the world, including in the United Arab Emirates. Therefore, if you have been working in social work and you have the right qualifications, you can immediately begin looking through job openings in the area in which you would like to live. If, however, you have not ever worked in social work and you want to get the right education to get started, you can enroll in a masters in social work or online social work masters degree program from a reputable and respected college or university, such as Rutgers University. In this way, you can acquire the qualifications that you need to successfully find the job of your dreams, whether you want to work in a healthcare facility, with individuals who are suffering from mental illness, with patients who are suffering with substance abuse, with the elderly, with the impoverished, or with children and families in a school environment.

Doctors and Other Professional Medical Staff

In addition to social workers, the UAE is always in need of highly trained medical professionals who can work in both public and private healthcare facilities. The United Arab Emirates has more than 40 public hospitals today, whereas it only had seven public hospitals back in 1970, so the growth has been tremendous over the last few decades, and that growth is showing no signs of stopping either. In fact, the Ministry of Health is currently undertaking a program that will cost millions in order to expand the healthcare facilities and the hospitals, as well as trauma centers and medical centers, throughout the seven emirates. This means that there will be plenty of job opportunities for doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel who wish to live in a beautiful place and make a difference every day.

Medical Specialists

In addition to family physicians, the UAE also has many openings for medical specialists, such as gynecologists, dermatologists, surgeons, and much more. If you are currently specialized in a particular medical field, you should be able to find a variety of high paying job opportunities that will also provide you with the employment benefits that you need to raise your family and live comfortably.

There are a host of job opportunities in the medical field throughout the UAE, so if you want to work abroad, definitely consider it as you are trying to figure out which destinations you would prefer to live in temporarily or permanently.
