Improving operational performance and reducing plant downtime crucial for companies to increase throughput

November 11, 2019– Emerson (NYSE: EMR) announced that it is exhibiting at ADIPEC 2019 from November 11 to 14, 2019 to showcase the latest technologies that can help companies improve their capital projects and operational performance. Themed ‘Insight through Digitalization,  Emerson's booth will present a wide range of solutions that drive asset performance, improve safety and enhance profitability for end user operations.

Emerson, through its Plantweb Digital Ecosystem, brings together a comprehensive approach that deploys scalable strategies focused on ROI centric solutions to drive a practical approach to Digital Transformation.

Vidya Ramnath, President of Emerson Automation Solutions for Middle East & Africa, said: “ADIPEC is a highly anticipated global event in the oil and gas sector taking place in Abu Dhabi and Emerson is excited to be part of the event once again. We are set to welcome our partners and we look forward to meeting many industry visitors at our booth to witness how successful digital technologies have supported companies in their efforts to optimize plant operations and increase production output.”

A key highlight this year will be an exhibit that highlights Emerson's footprint in the Middle East and Africa through an interactive layout of  Emerons's facilities and capabilities across the region. The company will also showcase its  Performance Learning Platform, a flexible hands-on training solution assembled in the region based on Emerson products manufactured in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Emerson's collaboration initiative with Shell will showcase a live remote asset monitoring exhibit where visitors to both Emerson and Shell's booth will be able to remotely monitor a critical asset and access important insights - which is a live example of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) in action. Other applications designed to simplify plant operations and improve performance such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twin, Plantweb Insight & Virtual Reality will also be showcased at Emerson's booth #3221 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
