The roundtable discussion was headed by Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University-HBMSU and the Chairman of the Conference's Higher Committee and Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Chairman of INDEX Holding and the Executive Chairman of ‘Innovation Arabia', and it was attended by a number of speakers, innovators, decision makers, leaders in various industries, and members of the media.

Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Mansoor Al Awar said: “Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of the University, the Innovation Arabia conference will be held under the theme, “Innovate, Disrupt, and Transform” during its eleventh edition. The conference continues to be a strategic platform to support national efforts aimed at allowing innovation to take root in UAE's culture, working environment and as a central tool for building integrated economies based on knowledge, sustainability and creativity. The roundtable meeting was very promising, bringing together top-level partners and sponsors from both the public and private sectors and civil and international organizations under one roof to discuss and brainstorm creative and latest ideas in preparation for future Innovation Arabia and increase the level of excellence in future editions.

“We highly value our joint efforts with partners and sponsors to bridge the gap in the Arab World through a rich and diverse agenda that provides a comprehensive update on pressing issues related to emerging challenges and opportunities that will help develop various sections of society such as business, health, environment, smart learning and Islamic economics, founded on creativity and entrepreneurship. We are delighted to host a number of prominent international personalities to jointly explore the future of economic and social development from a new perspective in line with the UAE's innovative and creative approach to work,  following our wise leadership's aspirations to create a better future for humanity,” added Al Awar.

From his side, Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani said: “The inclusive theme “Innovate, Disrupt and Transform” highlights the growing need for sustainability in the Arab World through innovative ideas based on creativity and entrepreneurship. Once again, Innovation Arabia 11 will provide the ideal platform to discuss challenges and explore solutions for the development of sustainable economies in the Arab World through innovation.”

Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani has also expressed his pride in INDEX's partnership with HBMSU in hosting this unique event, and thanked all attendees for their great support. Innovation Arabia 11 will present a platform to discuss key topics, debate issues of strategic relevance to the Arab World, present innovative ideas and share best practices. It attracts a wide array of academics, decision makers, professionals, industry experts, and innovators from the region and the world.
