Dubai, UAE, 08 January 2018 –   Al Naboodah Group Enterprises (ANGE), one of the UAE's oldest and most respected family conglomerates with a diverse portfolio of businesses, is entering the facilities management industry with the launch of Al Naboodah Facilities Management. The new business will sit under Al Naboodah Construction Group (ANCG), a strategic move supporting the Group's unique ability to self-supply and self-deliver on projects.

Facilities management complements ANCG's current portfolio of core services, which includes Civil Engineering, Building and MEP, and further strengthens the Group's positioning as an integrated market services provider. Offering a full suite of property and facilities management solutions, Al Naboodah Facilities Management draws upon decades of the Group's in-house experience, maintaining and optimising more than 100 of its own commercial, residential and industrial assets.

Senan Al Naboodah, Chief Executive Officer of ANCG commented: “Diversifying our expertise into facilities management drives Al Naboodah Construction Group's strategy to be a self-sustaining business. The introduction of Al Naboodah Facilities Management will create stronger synergies across the Group's portfolio, while driving our business interests forward into new growth sectors.”

Currently operational, Al Naboodah Facilities Management specialises in the delivery of integrated facilities management services, a multi-disciplined approach comprising specialisation and self-delivery of both hard and soft services, in addition to specialty services such as security, concierge, energy and waste management, landscaping, pest control and water tank cleaning. Statutory services such as firefighting, fire alarm systems are conveniently self-delivered within ANCG, allowing Al Naboodah Facilities Management the opportunity to provide a truly integrated services offering to clients.

The business is also aligning with international best practices and deploying computer assisted facilities management systems across all projects. Offering fully automated and digitised solutions, Al Naboodah Facilities Management can support client's sustainability aims through more accurate and efficient waste and energy reduction assessments.

Stephen Bremner, General Manager of Al Naboodah Facilities Management said: “Al Naboodah Facilities Management is positioned to be an early industry leader with its in-house expertise, use of best-in-class technologies and a long-standing reputation for quality customer service. The facilities management industry is evolving due to a formalisation of standards, and developers are increasingly understanding the importance of reliability engineering and asset management. Al Naboodah Facilities Management is addressing a need for premium facilities management solutions in the market, and our unique ability to self-deliver puts us at a competitive edge.”

Al Naboodah Facilities Management will adhere to international standards of service delivery, including Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Reliability Centred Maintenance; SFG20, a building maintenance standard for planned maintenance; NICEIC (Electrical Installation and Maintenance Standard); and BICSs (British Institute for Cleaning Science) certification. In addition, the business will continually consider its workforce welfare, building on the worker welfare ambitions of the ANCG Trade School, where ongoing specific-skilled training programmes are provided to its workforce.
