Host of celebrity chefs will star in cooking shows in front of a live audience at event's Supertheatre

Dubai, UAE, November 1, 2015: The tastiest days of the year will be making their way to the region as the BBC Good Food Show Dubai makes its debut with a host of spectacular features.

A number of celebrity chefs will land in the region to demonstrate their culinary expertise in front of live audiences at the BBC Good Food Show Dubai. Culinary experts will take to the stage to cook delicious dishes and reveal the secrets to their success on the Interview Stage.

Gastronomic lovers will have the chance to quiz celebrity chefs as host Lotte Duncan, who brings thirty years of food experience to her television presenting with a friendly and humorous touch, invites questions from the audience.

James Martin, Presenter of BBC One's hugely successful ‘Saturday Kitchen', will take part in the Supertheatre demonstrations, book signing sessions and the Interview Stage from 17-19 December at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

He joins a host of celebrity chefs flying in from all corners of the globe to tantalise Dubai's taste buds at the inaugural show. These include: Paul Hollywood, Celebrity Baking star and best-selling author of ‘100 Great Breads' and ‘How to Bake'; The first Indian chef to receive a Michelin star, the critically acclaimed Atul Kochhar and; Silvena Rowe, a leading celebrity chef and owner of five restaurants that she has opened in less than a year in Dubai, will also be among the prominent chefs in attendance.

Visitors will be able to shop for the latest cook books and have personal copies signed by the celebrity chefs and authors themselves at the daily book signing sessions taking place over the course of the event.

Budding bakers now have the exciting opportunity to put their skills to the test by entering the ‘Best Cake Design' competition, sponsored by Lurpak.  The lucky winner will receive a baking hamper worth AED5000, 6 months' worth of Lurpak Cook's Range Products, a High Tea experience for two and signed cookbooks from celebrity chefs Paul Hollywood and Andy Bates.

Non-professional baking enthusiasts over the age of 21 simply looking to try their hand at baking are invited to submit their entries online with a sketch or image of previous cakes made by 30 November 2015.

Shortlisted entries will be announced at the beginning of December, giving finalists the chance to display their creations at the show for public voting and judging by culinary superstar chef Andy Bates.

A number of special festive-themed sessions are also set to take place during the three day event at the Supertheatre where there will be plenty of tips for delicious winter recipes as well as seasonal inspiration for the kitchen.

The show's spectacular retail area is aimed at helping visitors look for a tasty treat or the perfect Festive gift for loved ones.  From the very best in seasonal and regional producers and up to 80 stalls to choose from, shoppers will not be disappointed.

After browsing through the retail area, visitors who have made an advanced booking can sit back, relax and enjoy a traditional cup of English tea and tempting desserts at the Tea Salon.

Raha Moradi, Event Director of Turret Media, the organisers of the BBC Good Food Show Dubai said: “We are looking forward to welcoming the BBC Good Food Show to Dubai for the first time in the show's 25 year history. This is the event's first international appearance and we're positive it will be a great success.

“We're excited to have over 90 exhibitors on board and will be announcing a number of other exciting developments over the next two months.  With fresh culinary talent, the event's celebrity chefs promise to cook up a storm and give the crowds a Show to remember.”
