CSR Initiatives by Malabar Gold & Diamonds continues in full strength

- An air conditioned tent set up at Sajaa industrial area, Sharjah, UAE by Malabar Gold & Diamonds has seen increased no. of beneficiaries when compared to the last year.
Dubai, UAE, June 10, 2018: As the holy & blessed month of Ramadan is nearing to end, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the prominent jewellery retailer is continuing its CSR initiatives in full strength. The firm is strengthening its CSR activities in GCC and the Far East region this Ramadan embracing the spirit of giving. As a part of their CSR activities this Ramadan, Malabar Gold & Diamonds has set up an air conditioned tent at Sajaa industrial area, Sharjah, UAE with the assistance & support from Sharjah Charity International is catering 900 beneficiaries per day throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Shamlal Ahamed, Managing Director – International Operations, Malabar Gold & Diamonds said “We are glad to be a part of this noble cause in the holy month of Ramadan, we have increased the no. of Iftar meals this year after seeing the increased no. of beneficiaries. A total of 27,000 beneficiaries will benefit from this, furthermore the volunteers from Malabar Gold & Diamonds are actively involved in the Iftar meals distributions”.
Over 70,000 GCC and Far East residents to benefit from the CSR initiatives of Malabar Gold & Diamonds this Ramadan. Since its inception in 1993, Malabar Group has been actively involved in CSR activities with the aim of creating a difference to the community in and around their area of operations.
