Bur Dubai, Karama
Tourist Attractions - Begin your visit with a tour of the
Bastakia area, the
Dubai Museum, the Diving Village, the Heritage Village and the Sheikh
Saeed House. Take the dhow (boat) trip to the other side of the creek or opt for a romantic
cruise down Dubai Creek. The Creek Side Park will keep your children smiling as you spend the
day fishing. The theme parks of Wonderland and Splashland, as well as
the popular restaurant, Planet Hollywood, make for enjoyable day-trips.
Shopping - You will be spoilt for choice.
Visit the major shopping malls like Bur Juman, Al Khaleej Center and the
Wafi Shopping
Mall or go for the best bargains in electronics and textiles on the Al Fahidi Street.
For casual wear, the Karama shopping complex offers the best prices.
Hotels - While no area in Dubai is very far away from the airport,
you would
want to stay in Bur Dubai for its central location and easy access to any
other area in Dubai. You would also be close to the major banks on Khalid Ibn Al Waleed

Deira
Tourist Attractions - The Shindagha tunnel (undersea tunnel), the Al Maktoum Bridge and
the Al Garhoud Bridge connect Deira with the rest of Dubai. Deira is famous for its
buildings, each of which is a modern architectural wonder. The skyline by the Creek makes for
great photographs. The Ice rink at the Galleria and the Mamzar Beach Park are designed for
family outings. Garhoud, down the Dubai Creek is closest to the Dubai International Airport.
Most of the major schools are in this
area, past the Aviation Club. You will not miss the prominents sails of the Dubai Creek, Golf

Shopping - You've reached the place where all that glitters is gold.
Deira is home to the world famous Gold Souk.
The Al Ghurair Centre, Deira City Centre, Al Manal Centre and the Hamrain Centre
are just some of the many state-of-the-art shopping malls that dot the landscape of Deira along with
traditional textile and spice souks.

Hotels in Deira will give you quicker access to the airport though the traffic tends to be heavy on the
Maktoum Bridge and the Al Ittihad Road (to Sharjah) between 7:30am - 9:00am in the morning and
6:00pm - 8:00pm in the evening. For a longer stay,> opt for
a furnished apartment.

Satwa, Jumeirah
Tourist Attractions - Enjoy a panoramic view of Dubai from the
39-storey Dubai World Trade
Center (everyday at 4:00pm - Tel : 9714 314200). Animal lovers can visit the Zoo, while art lovers can
marvel at the grace and beauty of the Jumeirah Mosque. Enjoy year-long sunshine at the Jumeirah Beach Park and
the Public Beach (near the Dubai Marine Beach Club). Tee off on the Emirates Golf Club down
the Sheikh Zayed Road or visit the camel and horse race tracks at Nad Al Sheba as you move towards
Zabeel from the World Trade Center. While here, sample the diverse cuisines
of Dubai.
Shopping - This is the place to go for designer wear including beach wear.
Visit Magrudy's Shopping Mall, the Jumeirah Plaza, Markaz Al Jumeirah, the Beach Centre and
numerous other shopping malls. Take a walk down Al Dhiyafa Rd. after the Al Satwa Fire
Station and experience a touch of Europe with its outdoor cafes and stylish shopping outlets.

Hotels - You would choose to stay here if you want to be close to the
sea. There a number of beach resorts to select from. This area is an ideal choice if you
have to do business with one of the world's most successful free trade zones, the Jebel Ali Free
Zone- JAFZ, (about 25 kms down the Sheikh Zayed Road from the Dubai World Trade Centre).
As you travel towards JAFZ, stop over for drink at the Hard Rock Cafe. Hotels like the Jumeirah
Beach Hotel and the Chicago Beach Hotel are attractions by themselves.We do have some
