Dr.Dorai had completed his basic and post-graduate degrees in Orthopaedics from India. Subsequently, he got the Diplomate degree in Orthopaedics (DNB) from National board, India. Then, he underwent
higher training in Orthopaedics in UK and got the Fellowship (FRCS) from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He also successfully completed Masters in Clinical Orthopaedics from
University of Teeside, Middlesbrough, UK. He had worked in various NHS hospitals in UK for nearly 6 years (1994 – 2000).
During his career, he was involved in many clinical and experimental research projects. He has publications in major international journals and presented papers in both Indian and International
conferences including British Orthopaedic society, UK.
Dr. Dorai has vast experience in the field of Joint replacement surgery, Arthroscopy and advanced trauma surgery both in India and United Kingdom. Before coming to Dubai, he had worked as a
consultant in a 500 bed multi-specialty hospital in India for 5 years, which is recognized as MRCS examination centre by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow). He had done more than
500 hip and knee replacements and 200 Arthroscopic procedures during his career.
