    SCCI Discloses Details of its Online Services Statistics in March

    Sharjah, April 7, 2020:  The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, SCCI, has recently revealed the statistics for its online services during March, where the number of memberships reached 467, 27 new memberships and 440 renewed memberships respectively, while the number of the certificates of origin reached 1346, besides 50 attestations. The number of new members from the free zones reached 25 during the same period. These numbers reflect the success of the SCCI in enhancing its online and smart services to cater to the needs of Sharjah’s business community and enable it to achieve the transactions smoothly, in accordance with the highest international standards.     Emirates Post Reduces Operating Hours in Dubai Based Centres

     New move in line with government directive to combat the spread of COVID-19     Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 6 April 2020:   Named a vital service, Emirates Post remains open for business however will further reduce working hours on a temporary basis at all its Dubai-based Customer Happiness Centres.     SCCI Calls on Property Owners to Reschedule Rental Payments for Those Affected by COVID-19 Pandemic

    Ajman Sewerage Cuts Service Fees by Up to 100 Percent

    Sea Cruises, Desert Camps, Safaris and Floating Restaurant Activity Suspended with Immediate Effect

    Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, March 19 2020: In line with recommended preventative measures for Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi is instructing all tour operators in Abu Dhabi Emirate to immediately suspend services and activities for all sea cruises, desert camps, safaris and floating restaurants.  The suspension of activities and services comes into force with immediate effect and will be in place until further notice.     Dubai Customs Dealt With 20.44m Items of Luggage Onboard 88,000 Flights at Terminal 3 in 2019

    Dubai – Saturday 07/03/2020: Statistics released by Dubai Customs showed that Dubai Customs’ Passenger Operations Department has dealt with 20.44 million passengers’ items of luggage on board 88,000 flights arriving into Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport in 2019. They also completed 34,200 customs transactions and made 1301 seizures (1198 criminal seizures and 103 customs seizures).
