Following the success of the UAE Team Emirates Youth Academy launched last year, UAE Team Emirates have announced their partnership with Abu Dhabi Cycling Club to establish a clear development pathway for children interested in cycling in the UAE.

Dubai, 21 January 2020: The future of Emirati heritage sport is bright as falconers, as young as five years old, proved their mettle at the Fazza Championship for Falconry – Juniors Category, organised by Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC) over the weekend at Al Ruwayyah desert area.

Dubai, 16 January 2020: Ten teams from across the Emirates participated in the inaugural UAE Falconers League competitions, which kicked off on Wednesday at Dubai’s Al Ruwayyah desert area.
Organised jointly by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC) and Abu Dhabi Falconers Club, the UAE Falconers League will have a total of nine rounds that will run until February 19 between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Rounds 2, 3 and 4 will be held on January 28, 29 and 30 in Abu Dhabi before the falconry championship returns to Al Ruwayyah in Dubai for Rounds 5, 6 and 7 ......read more
The 2020 UCI WorldTour gets underway with the Tour Down Under in less than a week’s time. The UAE Team Emirates riders will face just over 900km of racing and more than 12,000km of climbing. Key general classification stages include stage 2 to Stirling, with its uphill finish, an even stiffer uphill finish in Paracombe on stage 3, and then the final finish atop Willunga Hill. Philipsen won stage 5 last year in unique circumstances so could be the man to watch this time around.
