Dubai, 19th April 2017: The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC) will participate for the fourth consecutive year at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair to be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) from 26th April to 2nd May.

The Center's pavilion will display a wide range of publications and books, including ‘The Judicial System of the Reconciled Coast', ‘Social Values in the UAE Proverbs', ‘Multilingualism in UAE Society', ‘The UAE-Egypt Relations 1971-1981', Eastern Region, Grammar for General Education in Schools in the United Arab Emirates between Theory and Practice, as well as the new version entitled ‘Diwan Al-Sadiouni' and other publications.

Fatima Saif Al Falasi, Head of Libraries Section at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Heritage Center, praised the efforts of the organizers at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.

She said that the Center's pavilion is an interactive platform, which includes many activities and pictures of the heritage tournaments as well as the Center's publications. 'We are happy to be part of this cultural demonstration. We be showcasing the Center's activities and publications beside many local, regional and international institutions,' she said.

'Every year we are keen to showcase documents collected under the initiative of Watheeqati, pictures of the Fazza heritage championships, and offer some activities to involve the younger generations of school students and visitors alike. The Center has many cultural activities, traditional sports and events that reflect the popular heritage of the country. This year we will showcase original documents from Watheeqati and will host a group of artisans, to avail the opportunity for visitors and school children to learn about these professions,' she added.

Fatima Al Falasi concluded by saying that these innovative ways in presenting the history of the country comes within the vision of Center to promote and consolidate the national identity and to continue dialogue among other civilizations in an international forum such as the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.
Al Oula radio will be present on the exhibition grounds to cover the event from several angles, including interviews.

The participation of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2017 is part of the HHC's keenness to present its publications at this annual cultural event for intellectuals, researchers and readers. The Center attaches great importance to printing and publishing academic research in various aspects of heritage, the history of the UAE in particular, Arab and Islamic in general, in addition to the presentation of all initiatives, events, activities and documents collected by the Center.
