The perfect diet

This is the month when the summer break is on and the town in general seems rather empty and wears a bored look. It also means that the social life has come to a stand still. So I choose this period to eat sensibly, to achieve what I have always wanted to achieve - a great weight loss - and then more importantly to make me look good.

I have formulated this diet keeping into mind the foods I like and which also help greatly in the weight loss.

Breakfast:
1 cup rice cereal
Soya Milk
1 Apple

Lunch:
Fish grilled with lemon and (Black pepper dressing)
Mixed salad with lettuce/different colour capsicum, cucumber and tomato (dressing of vinegar olive oil and black pepper and mustard seed powder
1 rice cake
1 pear

Snack:
1 apple / peach or pear
10 walnuts (OR) Apple cinnamon baked or 2 cups popcorn - popped (use olive oil with black pepper and salt seasoning)

Dinner:
1 cup split pea soup or lentil soup.
1 whole meal toast.
Salad as the lunch type (OR) Baked or grilled fish or Salmon
Asparagus
1 medium baked potato with olive oil plus lemon and cloves and salt and tomato.

Drink 10 glasses of water and you may have coffee or tea with skimmed milk and Sugar Substitute.

You should be on this diet for 2 weeks. Give a break of one week, but try not putting on the weight you have lost during this period, and then restart the diet again for the next 2 weeks. You will see a visible difference in the inches you lose. There can be no better way than combining this with an exercise regime. I personally recommend yoga in the warm weather, because during summer one cannot go out for fresh air and long walks.

Diet Option 2
I hate the idea of having to limit to 3 meals a day - how about having meals 6 times a day? The meal will be a blend of foods and which help to loose 5 to 6 pounds in 3 days. It's really easy to follow and very interesting.

Breakfast:
1 cup Cornflakes or shredded wheat with skimmed milk
Coffee or tea

Snack:
1/2cup melon or 1 apple

Lunch:
4 ounces sliced turkey breast on wholemeal toast with French mustard sauce
Mixed green salad (cucumber, lettuce, and tomato).
Coffee, tea or diet soda

Snack:
1 cup skimmed milk
1 Marie biscuit

Dinner:
3 or 2 broiled or grilled chicken or fish
1 cup cooked spinach
Coffee or tea
1 glass icewater.

Snack:
6 oz low fat yoghurt or / cup skimmed milk.

In this diet you must drink minimum 8 glasses of water

If you are a vegetarian then you may choose from the vegetarian choice.

Breakfast:
1/2 cup strawberries or blueberries
6 oz low fat yoghurt
Coffee or tea- (with skimmed milk and sweetener)

Snack:
1/2 cup baby carrots
6 pretzels or 1/2cup popcorn.

Lunch:
1 cup vegetable soup (carrots spinach beans, tomatoes)
1 wholemeal toast
Coffee, tea or diet soda

Snack:
1 apple or pear or orange

Dinner:
1 cup grilled or steamed vegetables
1 cup spinach steamed or lightly stirred.
Coffee or tea
Iced yoghurt

Snack:1/2 cup low fat yoghurt

So let's get started and knock off the pounds we wish.
