This department includes the Gulf’s first sleep laboratory and ‘Stop Snoring’ clinic. Sleep problems are assessed during an overnight stay and UPPP operations to cure snoring recommended where appropriate.

Al Dowali also practices ossesintegration surgery where titanium fixtures are used for auricular, maxillofacial prosthesis and to bone-anchor hearing aids. Latest developments include facilities for the diagnosis and management of hearing disorders such as middle-ear surgery and Braanemark implants for hearing aids, otoplasty for defective ears (Auricles), functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), cochlea implant surgery, head and neck surgery, including removal of face, head, and neck tumours.

Routine ENT operation are regularly performed and there are facilities for tympanometry, audiometry and speech therapy.
